Enhancing Fertility with Herbs

Often available in powdered form, Maca can be sprinkled into smoothies, baked goods, or even savory dishes for a mild, nutty flavor. I love adding a teaspoon of Maca in my morning protein smoothie.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum):
Beyond its aromatic and warm flavor, cinnamon is believed to have properties that help to balance the blood sugars and support reproductive health. This versatile spice can be incorporated into both sweet and savory dishes, from breakfast oats to curries.
Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis):
Known as the "female ginseng," Dong Quai has a long history in traditional Chinese medicine for promoting female reproductive health. Its mild, slightly bitter flavor makes it suitable for soups, stews, and herbal teas.
Turmeric (Curcuma longa):
Celebrated for its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric is a versatile herb that can enhance both the colour and health benefits of your dishes. Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, is believed to support reproductive health. Use fresh turmeric root or ground turmeric in tofu scramble, curries, soups, or a soothing golden milk drink in the evening.
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus):
Shatavari, a member of the asparagus family, has been traditionally used in Ayurveda to support female reproductive health. Its delicate, sweet taste makes it a wonderful addition to desserts or warm beverages.
