I’m Jess Kasriel — A Health & Fertility Coach.

I help women hone into what is most important for their fertility and educate them how to make smarter nutritional choices to increase their egg quality and become more fertile.

Since I can remember, I have always been passionate about nutrition and women’s health. From a young age I was diagnosed with an endocrine condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which explained some of the reasons I had irregular periods and struggled with weight.

I am a former professional tennis player and went to the US to play tennis and study Pre-Medicine with the intention to go to Medical school. However, my heart wasn’t in it when I soon realised my values didn’t align with the traditional route and I switched my studies to complementary medicine, to focus on functional and preventative medicine.

When my tennis career came to an end, I struggled with a loss of identity and lacked direction and purpose in life. I battled with an eating disorder for many years and when I found recovery, I was called to listen more to my intuition and inner whispers. I had to dig deep to find my purpose on earth during this lifetime. Through this self discovery journey, I directed my attention to specialising in Nutrition for Eating Disorders for several years. I thoroughly enjoyed this work, helping others going through similar struggles with their health and body image issues.

There was a point in my career that I became very unhappy and exhausted; I struggled with a batch of insomnia and was facing burnout and pure exhaustion. I began to realise that I was putting off the thought of even trying to conceive as I was very fearful of birth due to the many negative, traumatic stories I had heard from people surrounding me. I had an underlying fear that I might not get pregnant due to my PCOS symptoms such as having an irregular menstrual cycle and I also had anxiety around my body changing during pregnancy - “what if I couldn’t control the pregnancy cravings and could never lose the post-baby weight?”

My mind was spiralling before even trying to conceive! I felt overwhelmed with all the information out there with the multitude of ways I could support my fertility levels; I was a complete ball of stress and anxiety.

But with the right nutrition and supplement focus, emotional support, healthy menstrual cycle awareness and self-healing practises, we eventually fell pregnant by the fourth month of trying.  

I truly believe the combination of nutrition, supplements and self healing, with the intention to balance hormones and increase energy, is fundamental for maximising women’s chances to have a baby.

However, I still remember the anxiety and sadness around every negative pregnancy test. I remember this ‘before pregnancy’ transition time very well and wouldn’t wish this fear and stress on anyone - trying to conceive does NOT need to be a difficult, tense time. 

And now having been through all that and come out the other side and now experiencing how wonderful it is to be a mum, I am now on a mission to help women feel empowered, energised and at ease on their fertility journey.

Optimise Your Fertility (3-month Program)

Optimise Your Fertility is a unique 1:1 programme that will completely empower you with nutritional and lifestyle knowledge to maximise your chances of conceiving. I will help you have a better understanding of your menstrual cycle and when your fertile window might be, as well as addressing any nutritional deficiencies you may have which could be preventing you from getting pregnant/sustaining a healthy pregnancy.

 

Here is an example of the steps we will take together in the programme:


One

Undergo an in-depth 90 minute Nutritional Assessment - we cover all of your medical and family history as well as assessing the health of your different body systems such as the gut and reproductive system. 


Two

Map out your menstrual cycle to find out when your unique fertile window might be.


Three

Address any hormone imbalances or nutritional deficiencies you might have (through looking at your diet/hormone testing/ovarian reserve testing/blood tests etc).


Four

Provide you with a bespoke, tailored, ‘fertility friendly’ diet and lifestyle plan.


Five

Weekly 50 minute private 1:1 Nutritional Coaching and Healing Session to support you to feel healthy, energised, calm and at ease on your fertility journey.


Six

Address any negative limiting beliefs and ancestral stories and use healing tools such as meditation/Reiki/yoga to support you to emotionally let go, destress and in turn balance hormones.
